About This Service

Baltimore Marine Safety is class-approved for Lifeboat and Lifeboat Davit Inspection and repair. Our Life Boat technician has over 30 years in the marine industry and is ABBRA approved for life boat fiberglass repairs.

BMS Engineers have a keen sense of detail to make sure that your boats will work as designed. We ensure when your vessel sails, all safety equipment designed to protect life will functionally work without question.

Inspections are conducted according to IMO Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) IMO 402(96) and manufacturers' guidelines. We encourage vessel crews to perform weekly visual and monthly inspections under the supervision of a senior ship's officer.
